Smooth-Cast™ 45D, Smooth-Cast™ 57D, Smooth-Cast™ 60D, Smooth-Cast™ 61D, Smooth-Cast™ 65D and Smooth-Cast™ 66D
Smooth-Cast™ Semi-Rigid resins 45D, 57D, 60D, 61D, 65D and 66D are low-cost urethane casting resins that cure quickly to semi-rigid plastics that offer excellent impact resistance. Smooth‑Cast™ 65D has a unique gradual cure profile making it ideal for making lightweight, hollow rotational castings
The semi-rigid plastics are good for making impact resistant prototypes, models, toys, props, climbing holds, etc.
Shore hardness available:
- 45D - softer, semi-rigid
- 57D, 60D & 61D - some flexibility
- 65D & 66D - more rigid
- 70D - rigid, not flexible
Features:
- Mercury and phthalate free
- Easy to use - 1:1 mix ratio by volume - no scale required
- Low viscosity - minimal bubble entrapment
- Impact resistant
- Vibrant colors are possible by adding SO-Strong™, UVO™ or Ignite™ colorants
- NOTE: Smooth-Cast™ 57D and Smooth-Cast™ 65D are also suitable for rotational casting applications. Do not use other Smooth-Cast™ semi-rigid plastics for roto casting
